The Story

Axis Rear Wing V2 Pump Carbon 460mm

Continuing the huge success of the AXIS 460 Carbon rear wing, was not an easy task.

We kept the same chord, foil section, and wingspan of the original 460, but added a splash of turn down on the tips, similar to the Progressive rears.

This created a rear wing that is fast, stable, pumps unreal, and likes to turn with good carving performance. The perfect setup for all dock start, flat water pump, downwinding, wake, lightwind winging, and more.

If you don't have the AXIS 460 v2 rear wing in your bag of rear wings, you are certainly missing out.

The AXIS 460 v2 carbon rear wing comes with its own AXIS cover, so your new AXIS wing is nicely protected.

We updated the graphics on this rear wing to show all the technical details you might be interested in (plus some):

  • Wingspan: 460mm
  • Max Chord: 60mm
  • True Area: 229.90cm2
  • Aspect Ratio: 9.3
  • Volume: 82.82cm3

"I've been using the V2 460 stabiliser for a while now, and I'm impressed with its performance. When it comes to flat water pumping, it pumps just as well as the 460 flat stabiliser, but what sets it apart is its exceptional grip and control during turns. Surprisingly, this stabiliser handles turns exceptionally well despite its larger size.

However, where the V2 460 stabiliser truly shines is during downwinding and light wind winging with a big foil, such as the 1300 or the 1310. It significantly boosts speed and glide when paired with any foil. I even conducted a test with the PNG1010, and once again, it greatly enhanced the speed and glide, making the 1010 feel like a higher aspect ratio foil. Personally, I primarily used the V2 460 with the 1150 foil, but I can envision it being an awesome combination with other foils as well.

If you're into big foils for flat water pumping, downwinding, or light wind winging, the V2 460 stabiliser is a definite winner. It provides improved performance and enhances your overall experience."
